You don't even need to be a master to transliteration malakas. That's pretty simple if you take 5 minutes to learn the basics.

I think the dot is placed to show a figure like a man (in this case, 3 men?) with the dot as heads, but yes, they should check the alibata and instead of a confusing dot, put head-like images instead - or smilies :-)
